Story: Upon returning to Gaul after conquering Britain in the autumn of 54 BC Roman commander-and-chief Julius Caesar was faced with a crisis. Due to a lack of grain he was forced to site the winter camps of his legions more widely throughout northern Gaul than he would otherwise have chosen.
The political situation was tense in Roman-ruled Gaul and rebellion flared up led by Ambiorix, chief of the Eburones. In the confusion of subterfuge from Ambiorix and his tribe, a substantial Roman force and its commanders were wiped out. For the first time the Gauls were shown that Rome was not invincible, and this incited more rebellions.
Elated at his victory and having more tribes ally with him, Ambiorix marched west for a Roman stronghold of Cicero that had not heard any news about their comrades being slaughtered. In that legion there were two outstandingly brave individuals, Titus Pullo and Lucius Vorenus, both centurions of the senior grade.
They were always arguing about which of them was the superior soldier, and every year they vied with one another for promotion. The siege at Cicero will be no different for these two rivals as they valiantly fight against the enemy to prove who is the better of the two once and for all.

Story: The Glorious Empire of Terazen, as legend states, was founded by the Angels of Heaven. They sought out the perfect world, sought out the perfect land, and forged the Terazen Empire out of the cold rock that was there. Terazen, in fact, literally means Land of Angels in an old forgotten language and the people there lived in peace for millennia. They, with the Angels' help, warded off invasion after invasion on the holy land and eventually won though with a pact of peace with their neighbouring brothers.
There was one, though, who loved the war. He loved the chaos, he loved the destruction, and he loved the death. None know where Lukas, the God of Death originally came from. Some believe he is truly a god and has ruled this land all along, other's believe he is nothing but a powerful sorcerer masquerading as one. One thing everyone can agree on, however, he is power incarnate. The peace has left a bad taste in his mouth and he craved the carnage once more. For a while, he bided his time. He knew well that the neighbours of Terazen were war-like and savage and he knew that it would only be a short while before things erupted. He didn't count on Heaven's interference. They used their influence to create a peace among the lands and that peace has lasted for 500 years. Lukas has grown tired of waiting...
He rallied a great army of the dead and blitzed through the war-like neighbours of Terazen like a plague. The more his armies kill, the stronger he gets and now he has his sights on the Terazen Empire itself. The gates of Terazen and of Heaven itself now stand alone before the massive Army of Darkness and Armageddon approaches.
